Heaven ...
John Legend

Rev Run's wifey has a new book out named "God, Can You Hear Me?" The book helps children of any nationality or religion to start early to go to a higher power for help dealing with anything that they are going through. The book delves into situations that she thought children are experiencing and parents aren't aware of or know how to deal with such as kids being teased about there clothing or the passing of loved ones.

The book's inspiration came from her son Daniel. Daniel had a situation and he wrote a letter to God one night and the next morning Justine and Run came to talk to him about the situation he wrote about and he was ecstatic saying, "Mommy it really works!"

She recently had her own situation that she went through where she had a
"God can you hear me?" moment. She gave birth to a baby girl, Victoria Anne, only for the newborn to die shortly after birth back in September last year. [Source]

This is definitely a book I'll be getting for my little god-children.

You Cant Stop the Reign ...
Shaquille O'Neal f/ Biggie

Shaquille O'Neal at the WBC Heavyweight Championship on January 6, 2007

You can't stop Superman aka Shaq Diesel. Mr. Reserve Miami Beach Police Officer tracked down a driver that hit his Cadillac Escalade and then fled the scene. Shaq was coming home from his game in Chicago against da Bulls.

O'Neal and bodyguard Jerome Crawford followed the driver for about five minutes. When the driver, identified by The Miami Herald as 18-year-old Emmnueo Cibrin of Tampa, stopped near a gas station, O'Neal approached the car and summoned a nearby police officer.

O'Neal, through the team, said Sunday night that he followed proper police protocol during the chase, including pursuing at a safe distance and speed. He contacted police officers along the way, he said.

O'Neal was sworn in as a reserve officer in 2005. He has long said he intends to pursue a career in law enforcement when he retires from basketball.

Looks like Shaq is no dummy (in sports standards), he also has a BA in general studies from Louisiana State in 2000 and an MBA from Phoenix Online in 2005. Will there be a Governor Shaq one day? Hmmm....

Sidenote, wasn't Buddy a jingle for that Hasbro My Buddy doll back in the day..."My Buddy, my buddy, my buddy and me" or for me it was "Kid Sister, Kid Sister, Kid sister and me!!!" Wow, that was a real throwback moment man. Anyway, check out the video stills.

Watch him perform Buddy live(yes, he's improved his acoustic skills ;) [Link]

Mama Said Knock You Out ...
LL Cool J

"Don't call it a comeback
I been here for years
Rockin my peers and puttin suckas in fear"
- LL Cool J

Serena Williams knocked suckas out and won the Australian Open yesterday. People were doubting her skills because she got off to a shaky start against her opponents like Anne Kremer and they also thought the bootyliscious star wasnt in shape.

"It was an awesome win, because I had so many critics. So many people ... saying negative things, saying I wasn't fit, when I felt that I was really fit, and I could last three sets.....I have the smallest waist and just because I have those two assets it looks like I'm not fit"

She proved them all wrong yesterday by knocking out the world top seed Maria Sharapova. Next up, the French Open.

First Round vs Mara Santangelo

Second Round vs Anne Kremer

Third Round vs Nadia Petrova

Fourth Round vs Jelena Jankovic

Quarterfinals vs Shahara Peer

Semifinal vs Nicole Vaidisova

Final vs Maria Sharapova
