Beyonce and the rest of the party people that attended Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue party just might have contracted Hepatitis A. According to SI, an employee of the caterer, Wolfgang Puck Catering, was diagnosed with the virus.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health urged anyone who ate raw food at the Sports Illustrated event, held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, to receive an immune globulin shot by Wednesday.

According to the CDC there is no specific treatment for Hepatitis A but sufferers are advised to rest, avoid fatty foods and alcohol but thankfully they reported a low mortality rate of 4 deaths per 1000 cases for the general population. Approximately 15% of people diagnosed with Hepatitis A may experience a symptomatic relapse(s) for nine months to a year after contracting the disease.
