Recently Mary J Blige attended the "I Think I Love My Wife" Los Angeles movie premiere and I had to do a double take when I saw her pic because I thought it was Tootie from "Facts of Life" reincarnated and all grown up. Mary in her retro bowl hair cut makes me think could these two be distant country cousins? Hmmm....

Recently Macy Gray came out of hiding and has been out ad about performing a various events. I thought it was Fantasia for a second, but closer examination revealed that no, it wasn't Fantasia or Eddie Munster, but Macy with a new wig. Could it be that Macy and Fanny might be country cousins and not even realize it? Hmmm...

Here's another spotlight on black designers for this black history month. Up next is the Columbian born designer, Mr. Edwing D'Angelo. His designs have fitted the bodies of celebs like Seam Paul, Miri Bin Ari, Ms. Pattie Pattie (LaBelle), and Viv Fox. He's got a distinct style that if your rocking one of his pieces you can safely conclude that you'll be noticed and be able to say, "Awww made you look."

If you like the styles, check out D'Angelo's website. [link]

Its black history month and since I love fashion, I decided to put a spotlight on black designers. Since Kimora Lee Simmons has african DNA running in her veins, I decided to showcase her skills for all you Baby Phat fans out there. Apparently, it seems having furry hats with your boobs out will be the signature Baby Phat look this year. Check it out.
