I remember getting excited when my family gassed up the'77 Thunderbird to go to my grandmother's house down south. I was psyched because I knew my dad was going to pumping the O'Jays eight track in the speakers. My dad made me fall in love with the Motown sound. One of my fave tracks he played was "Cry Together." It was so melancholy and smooth that even though I was only a kid, I felt that man's pain like I had been in love. Well, anyhoo, here are some tracks that sampled the O'Jays song.
